Issue No. 1: Introduction!

Hello all you awesome luscious ladies! This is the beginning of something beautiful, and no I'm not commenting on Square Enix's ability to wow the pants off ya in battle sequences!

So, you've got a boyfriend who is a gamer too, eh? I started this zine in hopes to help you win back your sex life and earn brownie points from your dearly beloved.
By helping my boyfriend, who I think should be called a professional gamer, play his games I've been able to regain my place in his life. It is not that I got ignored, I just got bored waiting for him to spend time with me so I took interest in his games. Started researching things on the internet that would help him to gain levels, create or find unique items, find and kill boss's and so much more. Needless to say, I got major points and lots more sex. He started to associate me with gaming. It was more romantic than anything else we had done. Gaming has been a huge part of his life. His best friend is even a gamer, so in order to fit in better in all aspects of his life I had to suck it up and take interest in what I liked to call "the other woman."

Girfriends of Gamers Magazine will hopefully be a way for you, the girlfriend, to get the inside scoop on new games, cheats, game information, and so on and so forth.

I may not have all the information, alas, I am just one person. BUT! I will do my best to keep up with all the latest games. I am living with a professional gamer, if I don't know the answer he surely will!

Also, quick note, if you find yourself sitting around getting angry at your honey because he's in the middle of playing a hard part of the game and you want to go out. Don't get mad, to your gamer he's already out and about. Particularly if he's playing World of Warcraft!

I've heard that 72% of British Men prefer their games to their girlfriends, my boyfriend agrees. Don't be a whiny bitch like all the other girlfriend's he's had take an interest in his hobby/lifestyle. Never know he just might take interest in your love for shopping.
